“Casa da Esperança” is one of the
branches of “Caminhos para Jesus”. It was created in 1991. It welcomes old people with clinical and social
risks, rejection or familiar abandonment with respect, solidarity and love. The
participants must agree to be received in the home .
In 22 years the home has been adopting changes
in relation to the outpatient care and home services. Another type of care
developed by the home is keeping old people from Monday to Friday and go home
in the weekends.
